Helena Louise Jenkins, age 53. Sunrise August 17, 1962 and Sunset March 2, 2016. Helena was a Medical Assistant and attended Kingdom Embassy Church. She was preceded in death by her brother Jeremiah Sanford, grandson Ricardo Mills, sister Sandy Sanford, and grandparents George and Catherine “Honey” Powell and James and Nellie Sanford. Left to cherish her memory, husband Antonio Demetrius Jenkins, parents James T. and Eleanor S. Sanford, sons Larry C. Payne, and John T. Payne, daughters Elenora C. Sanford, Ozella M. Sanford, Zina L. Sanford, and Helena N. (Demetrius) Rose, brothers James Sanford, Rocky (Stephanie) Sanford, and Eugene Sanford, sisters Jacqueline M. Sanford, Ireatha (Dave) Dawes, Zina M. Sanford, and Jonelle L. Sanford-Hawkins, 7 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday March 11, 2016 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave., and Viewing 8:30am Saturday March 12, 2016 at New Birth Christian Ministries 3475 Refugee Rd. until start of Service at 9:30am. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
