Hubert Brown, Jr.

Hubert Warren Brown Jr., also lovingly known as, “ June Bug” 66 of Columbus OH, departed this life on April 4, 2017 at Heartland of Dublin, nursing facility in Dublin, OH.

Hubert was born April 25, 1950 and raised in Anawalt, WV most of his young life.   He was the son of the late Hubert Warren Brown Sr. He was raised by his stepmother Lethia Brown of Anawalt, WV.  He attended Anawalt East School and Gary High School.  He was a Member of Mt Bethel United Holy Church, Anawalt, WV.  He moved to Columbus, OH at the early age of 18. Hubert loved fishing, making people laugh, and working on cars.  He retired from Borden Corporation in Columbus OH.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Warren Brown, Sr., stepmother Lethia Brown, one sister, Marilyn Sparks, and two stepbrothers Sidney Brown and Archie (Bubba) Floyd.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Priscilla J Brown of Columbus OH, his mother Wanda Brown Williams of New York, three daughters Lisa (Brown) Jennings and husband Jason of Columbus, OH, Chevonne Brown of Phoenix, AZ, Michelle Foster of Columbus, OH, and one son, Hubert “Chip” Brown of Columbus,  OH. Sisters:  Linda Colquitt of Columbus, OH, Wannetta Joyce of Detroit, MI, Mary Allen of Anawalt, WV, Dorothy Wilson of Anawalt, WV, Maria Dorsey and Celestine Lloyd of White Plains, NY and Joan Swanson of Detroit, MI. Brothers: Paul Floyd of Phoenix, AZ and Wilson Williams Jr. of White Plains, NY.  Grandchildren:  Ebony, Solomon, Erin, Imani, and Adrian. Along with two great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation 3:00 P.M. Funeral Service 4:00 P.M. at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Avenue
