Ida Ruth Medley

Ida Ruth Medley, 84.  Sunrise June 11, 1930 in Westpoint, AL and Sunset May 10, 2015 at OSU East Medical Center.  Ida was a Childcare Provider, active with The Kidney Foundation and a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where she served with the Deaconess, Choir, Golden Circle and Mothers Board Ministries.  She was preceded in death by her parents Len and Camille Tucker Wilson, son Frank L. Wilson and Hugo E. Medley, daughter Phyllis Medley-Jackson and sister Luebenia Wilson.  Left to cherish her memory, husband of 60 years Millard M. Medley, daughter Nancy R. Small, sister Lamyrtis Dukes, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and a host of other family and friends.  Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Friday May 15, 2015 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church 2283 Sunbury Rd.  Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
