Ivory Burton

Ivory Norman Burton was born on September 12, 1952 in Charleston, WV to Rosetta and Ivory Mitchell. He went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2019.

Ivory, better known as “Skeeter” was raised between Columbus Ohio, and Detroit Michigan. He worked for Car life battery, The Malibu, and Buckeye Steel. He would also do odd jobs to keep something on his four pack. Skeeter was a jokester; you never know what he might say. Ivory is preceded in death by mother, Rosetta Mitchell; father, Ivory Mitchell; brother, Rodney Mitchell; nephews, Rashaad (Roshe) Davis, Eric Mitchell Jr; and great nephew, Jeremiah Mitchell.

Ivory leaves to cherish his precious memory, 3 children, Melinda, Ivory and Ivan Burton; grandchildren, Ivory Jr. Jacob, Donovan, and Donika; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Willena (Arty) Hopson, Darlene Marshall, Christine Davis, and Regina Mitchell; brother, Eric Mitchell Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
