Jacqueline Marie Jackson, daughter of the late Clifton and Betty Wade, was born on October 30, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Diane (Kenneth) L. Watters and Paula M. Wade. She grew up in the Linden area and attended Linden McKinley High School.
from early on, Jackie always knew she wanted to be a hair stylist. She know she had a God given talent that needed to be nurtured. She started her journey working at DeTiffanese hair salon for many years before she was blessed to see her vision to fruition by opening her own salon, Jackie's Proud Lady. After 35 years in the hair industry, she was able to retire in 2009.
She excepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in her life and acted as an Armor Bearer at Triumphant Christian Center. Through her work in the church and her salon, she was able to touch and change many lives in a positive manner.
On Friday July 11, 2014, God, who is wise in all things, called Jacqueline Home to rest from her earthly labors. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, William L. Jackson, daughters Tonisha (Michael) Jackson, daughter Saundra Jackson, six grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
