Jacquelyn Bradley

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Bradley was born to Maggie Lash and William R. Lash Sr. in Columbus, Ohio on August 16, 1946. On August 17, 2019, “God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered, Come to Me.”

Jackie attended Columbus public schools and was 1964 graduate of Marion Franklin High School. She was employed with Lucent Technologies for 25 years as a production technician. In 2000 Jackie reconnected with her husband Robert Bradley and they married in 2006.

Jackie loved the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as her savior in her early years. She loved the word of God and witness to those who did not have a relationship with the Lord. She was a faithful and devoted member of Victory Deliverance Church for 35 years where she was a member of Mother Sanders Prayer Band. She was baptized in 1985 and served in various positions over her years of membership; the finance ministry, Sunday school teacher, children’s choir director, counseling young women and served as a Deaconess. She was also a graduate of the Bible Study Fellowship and returned for higher level of education. She was also a Real Estate Appraiser and continued in the career for a few years.
Jackie was very active in the Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) and the Respect My Life organization. She would also lobby for various gun control laws in memory of her 2 sons Rahim and Kahlief Tye Sr. Jackie was very active in her son’s sports and was known as the team mom. Her devotion transcended over to her grandchildren and how she supported them at their sporting events.

The heart of a loving mother makes room for more children and that’s what Jackie would do unconditionally. Anytime, there was a family gatherings’, church events, graduations, or family travels, you can count on Jackie being there. In fact, she’s usually the one who bounces the ideas off to you in hopes you’re “all in.” It gave Jackie great pleasure last year to have, a clown, food and a bouncing fun house in her back yard for her grand and great grandchildren. Family and Friends were welcomed, but that day was all about her grandchildren.

She truly loved her friends and family, and always spoke of her sons who unfortunately had an untimely death. Those boys were her heart, and if you were in her presence for any period of time, she would share fond memories of them. Before Jackie ended a phone call or departed from you, she would affectionally say “I love you more.”

Jackie was preceded in death by her grandparents Maggie Harris and Ike Anderson, Lillian Lash and William R. Lash. Sr, brother Gary Lash, sister Vickie Lash, and sons Rahim Tye and Kahlief Tye Sr.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memory; parents Maggie Lash & William R. Lash, Jr.; husband Robert E. Bradley; brother William (Kendall) Lash lV, sister Brenda (Daryl) Tucker; sons Kevin Wade & Larry (Charlanda) Wade; 8 grandchildren Antone’ Wade, Brittana Carthan, Lawrence Wade Jr, Derrick Wade, Kahlief Tye, Jr., Kaymionna Wade, K’Vion Wade & Keith Brown; God children Tiffany Adams, Amirah Adams & Andrew Adams; 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and hosts of family and friends.
