James Dwayne “Jimmy” Johnston

James Dwayne Johnston “Jimmy”, was born September 4, 1962 in Newark, Ohio to Carrol S. Johnston and Mamie R. Elliott Johnston.

After the death of his father Jimmy moved to Columbus in 1969 with his mother and siblings. He attended Linden McKinley High School and served in the U.S. Army.

Jimmy was the owner of “Johnston and Johnston Home and Lawncare Services. He was employed by Better World Healthcare Agency where he was a supervisor. Jimmy was an avid OSU fan, he loved to go fishing and playing chess. He loved to have family and friends around and he was the “ROCK” for this family.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Mamie Johnston Ellis, Son Dwayne, Wife Lorise Marsh-Johnston, Sisters Carolyn Johnston, Pamela (Lee) Foster, Tonya Johnston and Martie Johnston, brothers Clifford (Lori) Johnston and Billy Johnston, grandchildren Daelon and Deylana, numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles, mother in law Nancy Marsh, sisters in law Sandra and Sharon Marsh, brothers in law Frank and James Marsh Cyla and Cyronn Jr. Marsh.
