James “Baby Jay” Greene Ii

James Edward Greene II was born June 1, 1993, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, OH. James graduated from Urban Crest High School in Columbus, OH, in 2012. James was baptized in the name of Jesus at the Church by Christ Jesus by Pastor James Perry. James was known by many names, best known as Bay Jay, also known as Bam Bam, Bubba, Bubba Greene, Gentle Giant and Uncle Baby Jay. His favorite name he was called by was Daddy. He loved to cook and worked as a chef at several Columbus restaurants. James also worked for Amazon in their warehouse.

James was called home on Sunday, April 28, 2024. James was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents Galvester and Virginia R. Wade, maternal great-grandparents Roy and Flora Bray, paternal grandfather M. Wayne Horton and maternal grandmother Annyce Leslie, paternal aunt Lynda E. Jeffers, maternal uncle Kevin Leslie and aunt Kim Leslie, and paternal sister Jeri Lenora Rae Greene.

James is survived by his children, Zariah Greene and Andres Greene, his parents, James E. Greene Sr. (Terri), and Karen Leslie (Eugene), his brothers Steven Blackwell (Kristen), and James Fowler, his sisters Amber White (Skylar), Brittany Greene, Olivia Greene, Kennedi Greene, his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline L. Horton, uncle Thomas E. Greene (Angela) and his aunt, Sabrina W. Horton, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
