Joan Marie Kendrick Howell

Joan Marie (Kendrick)Howell, age 70. Sunrise January 17, 1947 and Sunset November 21, 2017.

Joan is survived by her loving and devoted children; Gina M. Howell and Craig A.(Yolanda) Howell, grandchildren; Destiny, Thomas, Jasmine, Taylor and two great grandchildren; Emoni and De’Miah.

Joan is also survived by sisters, Emma (Jerry) Butler, Burlene (Allan) Smith, Dana Kendrick, Leondra (Herschel) Newman,  Elizabeth (Jerry) Carter, a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

Joan was proceeded in death by her father Burrell Kendrick Sr. and mother Edith; brothers Burrell Jr., William and David; sisters Nancy and Shirley.
Joan was a member of New Covenant Believers Church.  She was truly family oriented, a dedicated mother, grandmother and sister. She was also an excellent cook and devoted caregiver.

Rest peacefully in Heaven, Joan. Our love for you is timeless and will endure until we meet again.

Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday November 25, 2017 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.  Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
