POPE,
John Antonio Pope II, age 19. Sunrise March 4, 1996 and Sunset July 11, 2015. John was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where he sang with the youth choir as a child. He mentored with Enough is Enough and The Broken Hearted Organization. John played football with the Eastland Vikings and AAU Basketball. He was a 2014 graduate of Independence High School where he played football and basketball. He was also on the basketball team at Salem International University. John was preceded in death by his father John A. Pope Sr. and grandfather Robert Bernard Chambers. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Robyn M. Pope, sisters Temica R Higgins and Phylicia N. Pope, grandmothers Phyllis Campbell and Lula Mae Pope, great grandmother Deborah N. Young, aunt Theresa Pope Owens, uncles William Pope and Keith Young, 6 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 12:00 noon and Funeral 1:00pm Friday July 17, 2015 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church 428 E. Main St. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J.
