John Jones

John Henry Jones, age 64.  Sunrise October 28, 1951 in Augusta, GA and Sunset October 20, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.  John was a 1970 graduate of Linden McKinley High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. John was formerly employed at Greyhound, Forward Air Freight, and DHL.John enjoyed fishing and reading his bible. He was a member of Redeemed Assembly Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon and Trustee. John was preceded in death by his parents, Nora Lee and Alfred Jones Sr., and Brother Henry “Tony” Jones. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Victoria A. Jones; sons, John H. Jones and Christian D. Steele; daughters, Erica L. (James Curenton) Burton, SaVon R. Jones, and Kesha R.  McDougal Jones; brothers, George (Clara) Hampton Jr., and Alfred Jones Jr.; sister, Pastor Mamie Wilson, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, special friends, Johnny Ford, George Brown, Jorg Hernandez, Spiritual advisor Dr. Gertrude Scales, Special niece, Kylee McCreery, and a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday October 26, 2016 at Harvest Time Ministry International Ministry 920 E. Fulton Ave.  Interment at Glen Rest Cemetery.  Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J.
