John McCoy Green, age 81. Sunrise August 9, 1934 in Crumpler, WV and Sunset June 20, 2016 in Columbus, OH. John was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Sterling and Bessie Green, stepmother Grace Green and siblings Willie Green, Sterling, Green Jr., James Green, Julius “Bootsey” Green, Houston Green, Rosa Green and Mary Alice Cooper. Left to cherish his memory, wife Racine Green, children Velinda Green, Doretha (Elder Duane) Hicks, John Green Jr., Raye Sharon (Ernest) Washington, Tammy Johnson, Charlotte (Adrian) Strickland, and Clifford Lamont (fiance Simone Moore) Green, siblings Alexander Green and Mary “Red” Alston, 20 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
