John “Skip” N. Williams, 72 years old died after a distinguished career first as a public school educator, and most recently an ordained lay-Minister in the Moravian Church of North America.

John was born at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio; the first born of John B. and Geraldine Williams. He and his fellow graduates celebrated their senior year as Class AA State basketball champions for 1966-1967. John chronicled the successful march to the title as sports editor for the high school newspaper, “The Panther’s Roar”, writing and editing the news accounts for that historic campaign.

In August 20, 1973. While in the military, John married Patricia A. Miller in October 1970. John found a new religious re-birth when he attended services at the Church of the Redeemer Moravia Church in Dublin, Ohio July 2009. John first gave a public sermon in July 2014.
