John Slaughter

John R. Slaughter, age 66 Sunrise December 5, 1950 and Sunset September 24, 2016. John Slaughter was a U.S. Marine Veteran and he worked at Longbeach Navel Shipyard. He attended Central High School.

He was proceeded in death by his loving mother, Johnnie Slaughter; father, John Slaughter Sr.; sons, John Slaughter II, Andrew Slaughter, and Jedidia Slaughter; and brother, Ellva Slaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Slaughter; sons, France (Jocelyn) Slaughter, Alphelius White, Ellva (Tiffany) Slaughter, Diquann (Tonya) Slaughter, and Jessie (Crystal) Slaughter; daughters, Cortessa Wiley, Renee Wiley, Roshanda Dumas, Janie (Edward) Battle, Lacey Slaughter, and Kuiana Slaughter; brothers, David Slaughter, Foster (Sabrina) Slaughter; sisters, Janie (George) Baker and Beverly Ann (Lofton) Wright; favorite Nephew, Shawn Smith, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Marlan Gary Chapel of Peace EAST  5456 E. Livingston Ave  Interment at Dayton National.  Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J.
