Jonathan Harris

October 17, 1958 — August 22, 2024

Jonathan Philip Harris was born on October 17, 1958 to David and Classie Harris in Mansfield, OH. He departed this life on August 22, 2024.

Johnny, as he was affectionately known, loved basketball, baseball, bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and outdoor events. He also loved watching westerns on TV. His favorite shows were Gunsmoke and The Big Valley. In addition, Johnny also loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the New Hope Bears. He loved the theme song to the TV show Batman and would sing along when prompted. He loved his family and caregivers and would often tell them so. When he was happy you knew it by his warm and friendly smile.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents, David and Classie Harris; sisters, Alene Harris, Jennifer Harris, and Christine Harris; brother, Eugene Harris; nephew, Andre Harris; and brother-in-law, Wilford Wiley.

Jonathan is survived by sisters, Beulah Wiley of Columbus, OH, Jacqueline Crawford of Highland, CA, Patricia Harris of Mansfield, OH and Norma (Mark) Tolson of Upper Marlboro, MD; two aunts, Martha Davis of Seattle, WA and Bridget Donaldson of Crawfordville, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Johnny was loved by his family and many others that knew him.

Jonathan is gone but will remain forever in our hearts and minds.
