Jonathan Robbins

Jonathan Curtis Robbins, Sunrise May 14, 1968 and Sunset April 12, 2017. Jonathan graduated from Walnut Ridge High School and received his Paralegal and Business Management Degree from Ashford University and studied at Columbus State University. Jonathan had a passion for encouraging and teaching young men to be entrepreneurs and self- starters.

Jonathan was the CEO and Founder of Stambaugh Pallet and Hauling Company. He employed young men and women who needed a fresh start regardless of their background as long as they were willing to work hard. He always had a warm heart and open door for people who needed a helping hand to his own dismay. Jonathan loved history, reading, fishing and was a master chess player. He was a gifted teacher and often taught classes at Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility, Richmond Correctional Facility and Mansfield Correctional Facility. One of the main classes he taught was Power of Education (PEP) as well as paralegal classes. He felt that we are forever learning and that we should learn something new every day.

During Jonathans last five years of his battle with cancer, he never complained. HE always kept a positive attitude and his mind stayed strong to the very end. He continued to work and exercise. He was a relentless fighter in all things. He wasn’t able to speak or get up but God saw fit to allow him to bounce back a couple of days prior to the Lord taking him Home and he said he was thirsty and wanted some orange juice even though he was unable to swallow. He fought a good fight but God said it was time to come Home. His smile and big heart will be truly missed.
