She especially enjoyed Southern cooking, and her specialties were her famous sweet potato pies, spicy BBQ sauce, savory collard greens and tomatoes and peppers she canned herself.

Josephine is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Parker; daughter, Karla Dorsey; and sisters, Gloria Jean Spencer and Diania Marie Parker.

Josephine is survived by her daughter, Shenice (Anthony) Palmer; grandchildren, Devin Palmer (Tareya) and Karlesha Palmer; great granddaughter, Justice Palmer, all of Columbus, OH; siblings, Annette Crumbley of Columbus, OH; Major Parker II of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Judy (Hollie) Boyd of Indianapolis, IN; Bernice Parker of Ft. Lauderdale FL, Andrew Parker Sr. of Houston, TX, and Elder Debra (Russell) Ringo of Vernon, CT; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends.

May her memory be a blessing to all those who loved her. She will be missed, always.
