Karen D. Edwards

Karen Denise Edwards, age 59, went home to be with the lord on November 13, 2023. Karen was born on May 7, 1964 in Columbus, OH to Vivian Edwards and Archie Woods.

Karen graduated in 1982 from Linden-McKinley high school. She did home health care until battling breast cancer in 2003. Karen was a 10-year breast cancer survivor. She showed her love for people by cooking, and everyone loved it. She was the biggest Ohio State fan and dedicated to watching her team every season and every game.

Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Edwards; father, Archid Woods; grandparents, Hiram and Gladys Wood, Henry, Sr., and Mary Edwards, and sister, Angie Woods.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Robyn Edwards, Monica Edwards, Archia Edwards; grandchildren, Ta’yanna Smith, Ta’Kirha Smith, and Me’Khi Edwards; great grandchildren, Kamara, Kenndi, and Kordae; siblings, Alicia Woods and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to encounter such an amazing an loving person she was.
