Kimberly A. Robinson

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Robinson Nee Brumage, of Kingston, Tennessee on January 12, 2024. Kimberly was born on May 19, 1958 to Patricia Schafer Nee Murphy and the late Ronald Lee Brumage.

Kimberly was a devoted and loving mother to her four cherished daughters, Tristin (Jeff) Baker of Ocala, Florida, LaToya Henderson, Bre’anna Robinson, and Marya (Kyle) Riggs all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her unwavering love shaped the lives of her daughters, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts.

Kimberly’s legacy extends beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of a slew of grandchildren, Katelyn (Spencer), Donald, Savannah, Jon-Paul II, Hailei, Hannah, Tahjae, Alijah, Kyron, Taliah, Makayla, Coast, and many nieces, and nephews. Her nurturing spirit and kindness created a bond that will endure through generations.

Kimberly’s love extended to her role as a caretaker at Jamestown Assisted Living, where she served as a dedicated shift leader in Roane County. Her compassion and commitment to providing care enriched the lives of those she served and made a lasting impact on the community.

Beyond her professional life, Kimberly enjoyed engaging her mind in friendly competition, displaying both her love and competitive spirit in games like “Words with Friends” and crossword puzzles. She found solace in the pages of a good novel, cultivated beauty in gardening, and shared countless moments of joy watching Lifetime movies. A self-proclaimed chef, Kimberly delighted in crafting delicious meals for her family and friends, leaving a legacy of culinary memories that will be savored for years to come. However, her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to what she fondly referred to as the “best grandkids to grace this earth.” Her love for them was immeasurable, and she relished every moment spent with her cherished grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Ronald Lee Brumage; and stepfather, J. Phil Schafer; siblings, Lynn Brumage, Rhonda Brumage, and Daniel Brumage. Kimberly’s journey through life was marked by the warmth and love she extended to her family and friends, leaving an indelible impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we mourn the loss of Kimberly, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives, the laughter she shared, and the love she generously gave. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to call her family and friend.

A celebration of Kimberly’s life will be on January 20, 2024 at 6pm at The Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace North, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43211.

May Kimberly Ann Robinson rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave during her time on Earth.
Her family would like to express their sincerest gratitude for the love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
