Mr. Kyle Lamont Woolfolk, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the Kobacker House on March 15, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at Marlan Gary Funeral Home-Chapel of Peace North on Friday, March 28, 2025. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M and Funeral services will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Pastor Deborah A. Benford of Hephzibah, Georgia will be officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
Kyle, the son of the late Alfred E. and Dorothy Woolfolk, was born on July 15, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Tina Woolfolk Miller and Carlla Woolfolk Sparks.
He received Christ at an early age and attended Hilliard Church of Christ and was a graduate of Groveport Madison High School, Groveport, Ohio. He was currently employed as a Package Handler/Parcel Assistant with FedEx Ground and previously worked at Value City Distribution Center for many years as well as other various places.
Kyle loved his family and especially looked forward to family gatherings with food and fun. He was an avid Michigan University football fan and enjoyed friendly, lively discussions with his Ohio State family and friends. He was fond of dogs and especially loved his dogs, Joker and Mitzi. Most importantly, he loved God and his relationship with Him provided the strength he needed to live day-by-day.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Sheri (Clyde) Agee; two brother, Eric (Kenise) Taylor and Alfred E. Woolfolk, Jr.; aunt, Bonnie Cheatham; nephews, Elrecco Thomas, Jr., Eric Starts, Ryan Randolph; nieces Shaya Thomas and Laurika Starks; Lexington, Kentucky family and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to the Kobacker House as a memorial to Kyle.
