Lee Antwonne Mardis

Lee Antwonne Mardis Jr, beloved son, brother, fiancé and father was called home to be with the Lord and gain his angel wings February 5th, 2022. Lee “Marlo” was born to Chequela Davis and Lee Mardis Sr on October 16th, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio.

He played all positions mainly safety and quarterback. Lee was a top player in chess and love attending chess tournaments. In his leisure time he loved to travel, play video games, listen to music but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. He would always consider himself a “chemist”.

Lee loved his family and friends dearly, especially his siblings. He had a love for children and was very much looking forward to being a father to his daughter. He was a very loyal friend and would look out for anybody. Moments before the Lord called Lee home to his final resting place, he gave himself as a sacrifice to protect and shield his fiance Jada and soon to be baby girl Mar’Lee from imminent danger.

Lee definitely had a love for dogs, at the time of his passing, he started his own business “4KW’Exotic Kennels. He had a mission, dreams, goals and was just getting started. He was looking forward to being a father to his daughter and planning his wedding to marry his fiancé and being the best man, he could be to his family. Lee was a protector, a provider, and will be remembered for his ambition, his loyalty, but most of all, his smile.
