Leroy Ingram

Leroy Ingram was born July 23, 1937 in Floyd, VA to Effie and John Homer Ingram, Sr. God called his soldiers home to rest peacefully in the early morning of June 22, 2020.

Leroy moved to Columbus, Oh at the age of 17. He was a construction worker for many years. He had a love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also loved to have conversations, especially about the Lord.; he was a man of faith.

Leroy attended Holy Spirit Church of Christ under the leadership of Bishop Russell Pace and First Lady Eileen Pace.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, Effie and John Homer Ingram, Sr; wife, Betty Ingram; siblings, Clyde Ingram, Robert Ingram, Elizabeth Ingram, David Ingram, Alvin Ingram, and William Ingram.

Leroy leaves to cherish a lifetime full of memories, son, Kevin (Veronica) Ingram; granddaughters, Kelveca Ingram and Michelle Ingram; great grandsons, De’Shawn and Redrick; brother, John Homer Ingram, Jr; stepchildren, Greg, Marqus, Debbie, Trisha, Lisa, Leona, Russell, and Ray; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many many friends.

Leroy was a fun and down to earth, loving, generous man to everyone he met. If he could spare it, you could have it. He will truly be missed in the flesh by all that knew and loved him.

Leroy, may your spirit and memories live in our hearts and minds forever. We love you!

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
