Lewis “Jay” Mcelroy

Lewis (Jay) McElroy Sr., age 58. of Columbus, Ohio went on to be with his heavenly Father on June 30, 2023. He
was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 13, 1964.

Lewis went to culinary school and worked at Mt. Carmel West in the cafeteria. Lewis also liked working on cars and
worked at Firestone. Lewis would sometimes DJ for Thursday night dances beside his best friend Michael Losey for Glenwood Recreation Center
when Angela Howard and John Little was the directors. He also played basketball and would go swimming there as well.
Lewis would like to build and run his RC cars. Lewis was a caring and loving family man. Lewis always liked to go fishing
and he loved installing speakers and playing heavy bass in his car. Lewis McElroy Sr., was a member of Wayne Avenue, Church of God.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
