Miss Lisa Chapman age 55, was born on June 4, 1964 in Columbus, OH to Wendell F Chapman, Sr. And Annie Ruth Chapman and passed peacefully June 29, 2019.

Lisa attended Briggs high school, afterwards she discovered her true passion for helping others. She devoted her life to serving the people of her community while working at Mary Haven and Faith Mission. Lisa had a heart of gold, she was dedicated to help others achieve freedom from addiction and rehabilitating families. Later in life Lisa ventured into the culinary world, perfecting her skills as a caterer & Chef. More than the last decade of Lisa’s life was spent honoring her Mother where she severed as her primary care taker.

Lisa loved spending time at home with her family watching movies and some of her favorite television shows, “I love Raymond”, and “two and a half men”. She also enjoyed getting out the house enjoying the sounds of nature and scenery. She was always overly enthused when she spent time with her Grand Doghter, Xena.

Lisa was known for her beautiful, genuine, compassionate, loving, nurturing, and humble spirit. She was truly a gift to her friends and family, and she will be missed dearly.

Lisa is preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd C. and Stella Mae Chapman; Sam Davis and Ella Bell Davis; father, Wendell F Chapman; aunts, Jeanette M. Humphrey, Catherine Blackmon, Mary Lois Paschal, Annie Pearl Jones, and Helen M Chapman; uncles, John L. Chapman, William Arnold Chapman, E.B.Davis, Rev. Willie B Davis,Sr., Bishop Charlie M Davis, Sr., and Henry Davis.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory, children, Brandon D. Chapman, Robin R. (David Knox) Chapman, and, Demetrius D. Dewberry; mother, Annie Ruth Chapman; brother, Wendell F Chapman; sister in law, Dianna Chapman; uncle, Willie C. (Norma) Davis; special friend Tonya Vance; Grand Doghter, Xena; and a host of many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins other family members and friends.

Visitation 12:00pm and Funeral 1:00pm Monday, July 8, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
