Lorée Scott

Lorée Lynnette Scott departed this life on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Pickerington Methodist Hospital. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 8, 1970. 

Lorée gave her life to the Lord and became a member of The Macedonia Baptist Church in Wheeling, West Virginia and New Wine International Worship Ministries in Urbancrest, Ohio. 

She graduated from Walnut Ridge High School and attended Columbus Community College. She was employed by: Defense Construction Supply Center, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Cardinal Industries, The Department of Corrections, and The United States Postal Service. 

Her favorite past-time was shopping, shopping, and more shopping, which she inherited from her Mother. 

She had a “beautiful soul” and improved the lives of many people from employment to various social needs, as she was a walking Social Worker. Her knowledge and intelligence were insurmountable. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd C. Scott in 1975. Those left to cherish her memory are: Mother, Gretta Scott-Holt; Sons, Antwon LaRese Simmons, William MarQuese Totten; Sister, Ina deVeda Copeland; and Grandson, Mateo Antwon Simmons. Special and Longtime Friends, Kimberly Saunders, Bonita Michelle Asare, and Keith Beidel, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and many friends.
