Miasha Tinsley-Smith

Miasha Tinsley-Smith aka MiMi was born February 14, 1991 in Columbus, Ohio 1991 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Miasha was born to and raised by Juanita Tinsley and Kwane Smith. Being born on Valentine’s Day, she naturally became a spoiled bundle of joy that clinched everyone’s heart. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age at Acts of Faith Community Crusade Church, where she was involved in the youth choir, mime and dance ministry. As a child she was troubled with many health issues, but that didn’t keep her from participating in cheerleading and the church step team. In addition, starting a dance/step team at Pickerington Central High School. Miasha graduated from Groveport Madison High School and Eastland Career Center School of Cosmetology, class of 2009.

Miasha was advised by doctors that she would never have children but with God she was able to give birth to her angel born Amora Bella Juanita Perrin. Together they would spend endless amounts of time cooking, learning, watching cartoons, laughing and cherishing each moment they had together. Through sickness and health she remained prayed up and vowed to God that she would be the best mother that she could be and SHE WAS!

Miasha loved to travel, laugh, dance and watch Michigan football games even though she didn’t know the rules. MiMi was also known for blessing people with her cooking! With signature dishes like her potato salad, chicken alfredo, curry chicken, pasta salad and many more dishes that nourished your soul. In fact, she had recently enrolled in culinary school & established her food truck business “House De Mi” LLC before she departed. Miasha illuminated joy no matter her health circumstances and her joy was infectious. Miasha had a beautiful smile that went along with her beautiful heart and soul!

Miasha is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Juanita B. Smith; grandparents, Johnny Goins, Jessie Rivera, William and Bonnie Smith; and uncles, Diego Rivera and Dominic Brooks.

Miasha leaves to cherish her memory, fiancé, Sean Perrin; daughter, Amora Bella Juanita Perrin; father, Kwane Smith; brother, Warren (Prachelle) Tinsley Jr.; grandmother, Iris Austin; nephews, Warren Tinsley III “Trey”, Carter Jay Tinsley, and Promise King Tinsley; niece, Purpose Divine Tinsley; God mother, Terri Montgomery; God brother, Brandon Mason; God sisters, LaTonya (Bobby) and Reyna Montgomery; God father, Michael Mason; aunts, Maggie Hargrow, Andrea Van Leesten- Goins , and Timolyn Smith; uncles, Sylvester Hargrow Sr., Kenyan (Catriece) Smith and children, Andre’ and Wanda Peterson and children; and a host of many cousins, friends, family and loved ones!

Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Holy Ghost Revival Center, 457 Gilbert St.
