Marcus Anthony Pruitt, 43, of Columbus, OH, went to his forever home on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, OH surrounded by family and love.Marcus was born September 15, 1981 to the late Paula R. Pruitt(Tucker) and Webster A. Pruitt Sr. He attended Linden McKinley High School where he played baseball and was a member of the marching band where he played the snare drums.Marcus was a kind, loving, and soft spoken person who enjoyed listening to music and writing poetry. He enjoyed being surrounded by family, learning new TikTok’s with his nieces, and watching his nieces and nephews grow. He enjoyed going with family to the Tucker family reunions and spoke of the fun and laughter they shared and the memories that were created that he kept in his heart.Marcus was preceded in death by his mother, Paula R. Pruitt(Tucker); grandparents, Charles A. Pruitt Sr., Lugene C. Pruitt, Carole Lewis, Bill Lewis, J.T. Tucker, David Smith Sr., and Dorothy L. Smith; sister, Shenee R. Pruitt-Smith; and sister-in-law, Lorvina Pruitt.Marcus leaves to cherish his loving memories; his father, Webster A. Pruitt Sr.; step-mother, Alice J. Pruitt; brothers, Webster A. Pruitt Jr. and Isaiah M. (Elaine) Pruitt; sisters, Rache M.(Marcus) Cunningham, Keysha L. Pruitt, Shanta C. Pruitt, Dominic N. Pruitt, and Ilice J. Pruitt; twenty nieces and nephews, five great nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.Marcus was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend that will be missed dearly by many and will live on in our hearts forever.
