Margaret E. Clark Mack

Margaret “Elexia” Clark Mack was born in Rutherford County on April 1, 1935 to the late Artis “Pete” and Cassie Mai Clark. Her journey ended on December 6, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Mack, Brother Raymond Clark, sisters Ruby Calloway, Pauline Lockman and Lorelle Gordon.
“Elexia” accepted Christ an early age and was baptized at Allen Chapel AME Church. She reunited with Key Memorial United Methodist Church after returning to Murfreesboro, from Columbus, OH. Where she resided for over fifty years.

She was educated in the Rutherford County School System. “Elexia” graduated from Holloway High School in 1953.

She was united in marriage to the late Cecil Mack and to this union 4 children were born, Cecil, Kenneth, Crystal and Cheryl.She valued family and friends and enjoyed working in the church; she served as a Communion Stewardess and was on the Usher Board at Keys United Methodist Church and was a member of the Progressive Garden Club; she loved working in her flower garden. She loved traveling with family and friends which was always an Adventure.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Mack, brother (Raymond Clark), sisters (Ruby Calloway, Pauline Lockman and Lorelle Gordon). She leaves to cherish her Loving Memory sons and daughters Cecil LaRue (Cheryl) of Mansfield, Ohio, Kenneth D. Mack of Chillicothe Ohio, Crystal P. Mack of Pickerington, Ohio, Cheryl L. Mack of Columbus, Ohio and Stepson Russell Daniels (Peggy) of Antioch, TN , 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Brother George (Ida) Clark of Murfreesboro, TN. Sister Elnora Miller of Louisville, KY. Lifetime “Sister Friend” Dorothy Orr and a host of other nieces, nephews, Family and Friends.

Visitation 6-8pm Tuesday December 11, 2018 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH  (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn north on Lonsdale Rd.). 

Her final resting place will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN.
