He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby Hairston and Lonie Hairston, grandmother Annie Smith, and sisters Barbara Sowards and Deborah Chambers. Left to cherish his memory, son Lonie Smith, daughter Vandria (Damon) Berry, siblings Tony, Molly, Judy, Brett, Carl, Robert, Chris, Rosalind, Barre, Troy, Brandon, Wanda, George, Valerie, and Vanessa; The Chambers Siblings Daniel Jr., Mark, Mark Anthony, Niki, Marlon, Mary Ellen, Rocsan, Jennifer, Shirley, and Eddie, girlfriend Jessica Fields, stepchildren Alexis Harris, Tatiyania and Jesserae Fields, granddaughter Ja’Niyah Fields, former spouse Vangela Barnes, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
