A time to be born

 Marvin James Jr, was born on December 30, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to his loving parents Alene Henderson and Marvin James Sr, who preceded him death.

 A time to Get:

 He attended Linden McKinnley High School, in June 1970 entered USMC he was honorably discharged in 1972. He because a professional painter until he retired due to health problems.

 A Time to Dance

On February 3, 1973 he was joined in holy Matrimony to Karen Denise Turner, to this union was born three sons

 A Time to be Born Again (Spiritually)

 He was born spiritually in 1974 at Apostolic Faith Temple in Columbus, Ohio

 A time to Embrace

In July 1981 became a member of Higher Ground Bishop Watkins his pastor watched over his life and growth, he was elevated to deacon of Higher Ground always abondiny assemblies

 A time to Lose

His health begin to fail many medical problems arose making it impossible to care for himself, he was lovingly taken care of by his wife Karen and sons Marvin III, Maurice and Marquis

 A Time to Die

Marvin peacefully passed away on September 23, 2016 at 10:23pm at James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Oh.

 A Time to Weep, A Time to Mourn

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving caring wife, Karen and four sons Marvin III (Yolanda), Maurice, Marquis (Caryn), Stacy (Barb), all of Columbus, Ohio, two sisters, Beverly Baylor, Terri (Steven) Pullien), of Columbus, Ohio 3 brother-in-laws. Aaron Kirk Jr (Jeanell) Turner, Byron Turner, Laron Turner, Three sister in laws Marquita Pinkins, Sheree (Jerry Roquemore), Michelle Jones all of Columbus, Ohio 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 Marvin had a overwhelming smile and personality that affected everyone he met he will be greatly missed.

 Sleep on husband, father, brother, grandpa and take your rest we all love you, but god loved you best.
