Mary Alice Watkins

Mary Alice Watkins, 81. Sunrise April 12, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio and Sunset February 10, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio.

Mary worked several jobs during her lifetime; she worked as a cosmetologist, and worked at Ohio State Mental Institute before working and retiring from Chrysler in Detroit.

Mary was a member of Flintridge Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess and Church Mother. She also was a volunteer at St. John Catholic Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents William Edward Harris and Hattie Bell Greer Harris, daughter Curvon Stephanie Harris, and siblings William Harris Jr., Hazel Lee Morris, Richard Warren Harris, Leroy Harris and Peggy J. Kessler.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, brother Raymond D. (Pattie M.) Harris, sisters Naomi Hickman and Norma Cox, grandchildren Nathaniel Harris, and Kellie (Anthony) Harris Humphrey, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, special God Sisters Louise C. Donnell and Nazarie Archie, God Children Rodney (Maggie) Richberg, Madison (Esther) McRae, and Curtis (Edna) Guinn and a host of other special family and friends.
