Both Mary and Elbert were avid sports fans and loved watching cowboy movies. She was also a great cook and baker, making dishes that were enjoyed by many. Mary was employed at St. Ann’s Hospital, retiring after 34 years of service.

Other than her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51-years, Elbert McClain; sister Jeanette Sanford, aunt Elizabeth Drew and step-son Vincent McClain.
