Melvin Douglas Scott,

Well known as “Frenchie”, was born to Melvin Douglas Traylor and Mary Diane Scott, on November 20, 1979. He departed this life Thursday, November 3, 2011. Melvin graduated from Northland High School in 1998 and was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Melvin was preceded in death by his grandparents Elizabeth and Cleveland Traylor and Layton Calloway and a host of aunts and uncles.

Frenchie leaves to cherish him in memory, his loving wife Mahogany Scott, mother Mary Diane Scott (Stanford Jones), father Melvin Douglas (Cathy Traylor), brother Anthony Dawayne “Boo” Scott, five children, sons melik and Melvin Jr., daughters Melia, Melari, and Mylee Scott, grandmother Mary Ann Scott, special mother in law Tina Waller (Cliff Hathorn), close friends Dolomand Ayers and Eugene Brown and a host of other relatives and many friends.
