Melvin Ferguson

Melvin Demetrius Ferguson was born October 13, 1977 to Anna Ferguson-Jones in Berrien Springs, MI. He relocated to Columbus, OH with his family in 2005. He became certified in HVAC once he became a resident. Melvin went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2020.

Melvin Demetrius enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a loving and devoted father. He enjoyed his family and friends, and most importantly his two Kings. He was a joy to be around, just being himself. He loved to joke with his family and friends and reminisce about the old days.

Melvin is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William A. Ferguson, Sr, and great grandmother, Anna Mae Drake.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Anna Marie Ferguson Jones; stepfathers, Eric Jones and Donald Murphy of Columbus, OH; sons, Melvin Ferguson Jr and Mason Ferguson both of Kalamazoo, MI; brothers, Donald Ferguson of Columbus, OH, Demoris Ferguson of Greenville, NC and Deondrel Ferguson of Columbus, OH; sister, Titania Sims of Columbus, OH; nephews, Donald Ferguson Jr, Demoris Ferguson Jr, Lee Sims, Jaylen Sims, and Mordecai Ferguson; nieces, Trenedy Ferguson, Destinee Ferguson, and Londyn Sims; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Jean Ferguson; mother of his children, Nicquilette Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.
