Melvin Traylor Sr.

Melvin Traylor, age 79, departed this life on April 20, 2014 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Melvin was born on March 23, 1935 to Camille Traylor and Willie Tucker in West Point, Georgia.

He served in the Air Force for 20 years, National Guard 10 Years and was Bus Driver for COTA 30 years when he retired. He was a lifetime member of VFW Local 3764.

Melvin was preceded in death his parents Willie Tucker Sr. and Camilla Wright, and brother Thomas L. Traylor.

Left to cherish his memory, wife Lillian Traylor, sons George (Venita) O'Bannon, Pastor Maurice A. (Kevin) Traylor, and Melvin Traylor Jr., daughters Johnanna Robinson, Glenda M. Traylor, and Jenora Adams, brother Willie ( Angela) Tucker Jr., sister Zepherene (William) Gamble, Rosetta Willis, Carolyn (John) Smith, Brenda (John) Mitchell, Melinda Ann (John) Brown, Deborah Parker and Sonya Loften, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
