Our Precious Mother Milbur J. Francis was born into the union of Wells Douglas Keys and Viola Manns Keys on October 3, 1944. She was born one of 16 children. After graduating from Stratton High School in Beckley, West Virginia, she continued her education in business at Columbus Technology Institute. Milbur was an affectionate, devoted, and gentle mother to her children. Raising them to grow up depending on no one but God. She gave her love and kindness to all who came into her life. One way she showed her love was through cooking. Often saying, “the key ingredient is love!” Milbur’s faithfulness to God was evident in her actions demeanor, and felt by everyone around her. Even in her final moments, she continues to utter praise and thanksgiving to God.
