Missionary Deborah Ayers King

Missionary Deborah Ayers King, age 78. Sunrise April 21, 1937 and Sunset April 4, 2016. Deborah was a member of Evangelic Gospel Tabernacle Church, Pastor Elder Rodney Porter, where she became a licensed missionary. She was also a talented singer, pianist and choir director. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matilda and Samuel D. Ayers, Sr.; brothers, Ellis Ayers, Leroi Ayers, and Dr. Samuel D. Ayers, Jr.; and sister Essie Mae Ayers. She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Dorcas Ayers Porter; brother, Timothy (Dr. Judith) Ayers; daughters, Dorcas King, Kimberly King, Kenya (Lavohn) Storey, Randi Thomas, Sada Geiger King, Juanita Hughes, Nicole Collins, Shelley King, Pastor Tonya Johnson, Torrie Marshal, Joann Baldwin, Bohemaa Isitutu, Katrice Jackson, Robin Radden, Indica Cox, Antonia Mayo; 19 grandchildren,; 18 great grandchildren; dear friends, former spouse John (Valerie) King, Alice Young, Julie Roddy, and April Bundurant; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation 10am and Funeral 11am Friday April 15, 2016 at Gospel Lighthouse Church 600 Frebis Ave.  Interment at Union Cemetery.  Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
