Mr. Dante Deshon Rigsbee

Dante Deshon Rigsbee also known as “Tag” at the age of 39. Was born on the 18 day of September 1984, in Columbus, Ohio. To Natasha Rigsbee and James Miller. He departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, December 30, 2023.

Dante was an entrepreneur who love working on cars as a mechanic. Throughout his high school day, he attended South High School in Columbus, Ohio. Tag was a very outspoken, but to his family and close friends he was a protector. Tag would give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it. Because that’s the kind of heart he had. God blessed his with seven precious children and three bonus children in which he gained through a long partnership with Krystal Moore.

Dante is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lathrop W. Jr. and Dorthy (Moses) Rigsbee; mother, Natasha Rigsbee; great aunts, Juanita Craft, Anita Carter, Debra Croner; great uncle Willis Rigsbee.

Dante leaves to cherish his memory father, James Miller; daughters, Dashauna Rigsbee, Alicea Rigsbee, Davonna Rigsbee, Kamari Rigsbee, Egypt Slate, and Dashaya Rigsbee. Son, Jahmad Pointer. All of Columbus, Ohio. Bonus kids, Brenton, Kaylionna, and Malayah, all of Columbus, Ohio. sisters, Dyshaya Rigsbee, Tamika Holt. Both of Columbus, Ohio. brother, Dalonte Rigsbee, of Columbus, Ohio. God sisters, Erishawnd Miller, Brooklyn Bivens. great aunt, Bleaker Moses; uncle, Lathrop Rigsbee III, Markus Alexander, Stevie Alexander, Justin Kegg, Charlie Alexander all of Columbus, Ohio. Michael and Ryan Rigsbee, both of Portsmouth, Ohio. aunt, Robin Rigsbee of Portsmouth, Ohio. special cousins who were like his brothers, Tawayne Lewis, Dajon Reese, Danyl Hampton; sister, Antionette Hamilton; niece, Ma’Ryi Johnson, Endiyc Rigsbee; nephews, Ja’ Viiyon, Ja’haree Rigsbee; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).
