Devonte’ was preceded in death by his brother; Elijah Bronson, grandfather; Clarence Jacocks II, special friend; Dontarious Sylvester, and his great-grandparents.
Devonte’ is survived by his mother; La’Tavia Bronson (Floyon Harris), father; Clarence (Jennifer) Jacocks III, daughter; Mehaila “Halo” Niayr Lashay Jacocks, son; Devonte’ “Tae Tae” Leshore Jacocks Jr. and unborn son, sisters; Nija Jacocks, Devon Allen, and Tennley Jacocks, brothers; Jalen Jacocks, and Clarence Jacocks IV, maternal grandparents; Willie & Carol Bronson, paternal grandmother; Debra Jacocks, aunts; Selina (Norven) Roane-Thomas, La’Tayia Bronson (Thomas Holder), Monaray Burkett, Erin (Michael) Tezeno, uncles; Matthew (Tempestt) Jacocks Sr. and Edward Burkett, great-grandmother; Monaray Bell, girlfriend; Mekaila Grose, special cousins; Marvin Parker, Jamartavious “Tavo” Ross, and Lacario Davison, special friends; Anton Franklin and Martin Prude, and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
Devonte’ was a proud 2015 graduate from Mansfield Senior High School. Devonte’ was a hardworking, loyal, loving, and motivating family man who loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed taking care of others, playing the game, joking and making others laugh and smile. He had a smile that was contagious. To know him was to truly love him. We will all miss him dearly!
