Mr. John H. Taylor

John H. Taylor was born to the late John Taylor, Sr. And Elizabeth Taylor (nee Turner) on December 22, 1955 in Blytheville, Arkansas. Mr. Taylor is proceeded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Taylor, Sisters Ann F. Aldridge of Columbus, Ohio, and Katherine Taylor, Gloria Thomas and Iona Graves of Arkansas, and Brother Howard Taylor.

Mr. Taylor served in the United States Army from 1973-1975, where he was honorably discharged. Later, he spent several years in St. Louis, Missouri and Detroit, Michigan. In 1980, he permanently relocated to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to his immediate family, and was employed with Swan Cleansers for over 30 years, then later worked at Columbus Lace Dry Cleaning until he retired in early 2022.

John loved his family, and close friends, going to events such as the Downtown Jazz and Rib Fest, Greek Festival, and various concerts around town. After retirement, Mr. Taylor enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

Mr. Taylor leaves to cherish his memory nephews Roderick Aldridge (Columbus, OH), Demond Aldridge (Chicago, IL), Ronnie (Holly) Heard (Cleveland, OH), and Clarence Heard (Bronx, NY). His love for life and doing things on his own terms will never be forgotten. Farewell to our uncle John!
