Mr. Kevin Neal Lawson

Kevin Neal Lawson, born on August 15, 1954, passed away on February 24, 2023, at St. Anns Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanford and Angel Lawson, his nephew Kenyon Lawson, and stepchildren Angel Renea Ash, Angie Marshell Ash, and Justin Wade Ash.

Kevin is survived by his wife Kathleen Lawson, his children Raqib Howell, Kevin Blalock, Chandra Banks, and Kanei Lee Lawson, his siblings Rena’ Lawson, Seneca Lawson-Spencer, Carlton (Kathy) Lawson, and Adrienne Lawson, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Kevin was known for his love of movies, especially westerns. He was the life of the party, always making people laugh with his infectious sense of humor. He was also a ladies’ man who charmed everyone he met. Kevin was a wonderful man who was loved by many.

Kevin’s passing has left a hole in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and larger-than-life personality. The world has lost a truly special person, and Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
