Marvin Eugene Wilkins was born on October 19, 1968 to Jacqueline Ransom and Milledge (spoon)
Wilkins Jr.

Marvin spent his early days attending centennial high school, dominating the basketball court winning dunk contest he didn’t even know about. A charismatic guy who also won Prom King. Marvin had the capacity to perform many skills, he would work on cars, even work with electrical lines. Marvin had so many interest from sports to cars to movies and he filled his live with everything he wanted
around him. Marvin led a life of love. Through many experiences he became the person who understood what he valued most in life.

Marvin was a father, a brother, a son, an uncle, a cousin and a phone call away. Marvin always showed up and did whatever he could do to help any situation. Marvin lived from his spirit and loved from his heart. Marvin Impacted many lives and held value in a lot of those same ones. Although he will always be dearly missed, he has completed his mission and can finally rest easy. To those who know Marvin Know he loved you.

Marvin went home to be with the lord on February 1, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father; Milledge Wilkins Jr., aunt; Shirley Bias, grandmother; Reva Ransom and uncle; Mike Ransom.

Marvin is survived by his loving mother; Jacqueline Ransom, his only sister; Jacqueline (Antwoin) Williams, children; Marvin (Latrisha) Wilkins, Stevante Wilkins, Sydnie (Davionne) Wilkins and Sheridyn Wilkins, grandchildren; Jerbrail Grhim Jr., Je’mari Wilkins, Marvin Wilkins III, Mar’Lèigha Wilkins
and Syian Bleü Wilkins, nephews; Jaquan Williams and Antwoin Reed Jr. and only niece; Jazzlynn Reed.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at St. John Baptist Church, 1145 St Clair Ave.. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J.
