Roscoe Howard Carson (BA) was born on October 29th, 1955, in Columbus, OH. Roscoe married the love of his life Phyllis Carson better known as BA on May 4th, 1991. With his wife by his side their union brought about the life of Angelo Carson, born May 26th, 1992.

Roscoe was called Home to be with the Lord on July 17th, 2023, with his wife of 32 years by his side. Roscoe was a strong, hardworking family man. He was a provider for his family year after year and a protector of his wife and children. As a young man Roscoe graduated from Central Highschool and enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served as a fire fighter. After he left the military Roscoe worked for the City of Columbus and was a truck driver for many years. Roscoe was very into recreation and sports loving activities such as softball, fishing, basketball and football. Roscoe loved his family and bonus family. Everyone that knew him knows he was direct and to the point even if it hurt your feelings.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe H. Carson and Viola R. Carson. Son, Roscoe JC. Carson. Sister, Constance B. Carson. Brother-in-law, Moses Pass, Jr. His Mother and Father in-law Eddie and Doris Jackson. Roscoe leaves many to cherish his loving memory. Among them is his loving wife of32 years Phyllis Carson. His eldest living son Julius Carson. His son Phillip A. Jackson Sr. His youngest son Angelo Carson I. His sister Delores Pass. Also, a host of grandkids Rayquan, Xavier, Phillip Jr., Samayiah, Layla, Karma, Ziyah, Angelo II, and the baby Skyla. His nieces Sheila Carson and Aliya Horton. His sister in laws Diane, Angela and Pateeser, a special mention to his sister-in-law Gwendolyn Jackson who took care of him like her own brother until the end. His brother in laws Eddie Jackson and Rev. Tommy Hicklin. His special cousins Rochelle Reed and Yolanda Green. His best friends Ron Vasser and John Denham.
