Thaddeus Malcolm Brown, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023. Born on February 2, 1959, in Aurora, IL, Thaddeus brought joy and warmth to the lives of all who knew him. His legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will forever be cherished.
Thaddeus distinguished himself as a Marine Veteran, serving his country with honor and dedication from July 8, 1977, to August 24, 1979, achieving the rank of Corporal. After his military service, he pursued higher education and obtained a bachelor’s degree in science from Southern Illinois University, further expanding his knowledge and expertise.
Thaddeus embarked on a successful career as a financial advisor, making valuable contributions in the field of investments. He worked diligently at renowned companies such as Edward Jones, Painwebber, and Prudential, where his expertise guided countless individuals towards financial prosperity.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Thaddeus displayed a keen eye for artistry, working as a computer graphics artist at the National Cash Register World Headquarters. He also excelled in sales and marketing, leaving his mark at Germain Cadillac, Mill Pond Press, Innovative Signs, and Desears Custom Kitchen and Appliances in Sarasota, FL.
Thaddeus will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Haywood Brown and Emma Elizabeth Nash Westbrook, and his two brothers, Corey Blackwell, and Ronald Edwin King Sr. Thaddeus leaves behind his adoring wife, Charlene Mishele Brown; and eight children, Terrance Walker (Sherry), Tchad Harris, (Alexandra), Natasha Sutton, Brittany Sutton, Jonathan Brown, Calvin Sutton, Samuel Brown, Christopher Sutton (Rose); who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Additionally, he was a cherished grandfather to seventeen grandchildren, spreading his love and wisdom throughout the generations.
Thaddeus loved the Lord. He would send daily inspirational prayers to family and friends. He was a visionary, a man of great wisdom who was extremely business minded.
Thaddeus had a passion for research and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family. He enjoyed landscaping and decorating, transforming spaces into beautiful havens. His creativity and attention to detail were evident in all aspects of his life. He was an Amazing Cook. He loved his family and the same love was returned to him. He loved and enjoyed walking his Doberman pincher. (Dog) Prince.
Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Saturday October 14, 2023, at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby Rd turn north on Lonsdale Rd.. Thaddeus will be laid to rest at 11:00am on Monday October 16, 2023, at Dayton National Cemetery 4400 W. 3rd St., Dayton, OH 45417, where he will find eternal peace.
Thaddeus Malcolm Brown’s departure leaves an immense void in the lives of those he touched; however, his spirit, love, and lifelong achievements will continue to inspire and bring comfort to all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
