EEmma Frances Rosser-Porter born July 23rd 1921 in Washington Kentucky to Parents William and Ida Hord-Rosser. Emma was one of 13 children. Emma spent her youth and attended High School in Maysville Kentucky. Shortly after she met, fell in love and on May 10th 1946 married the love of her life Raymond Porter. The couple quickly made Ohio their permanent place of residency and had one beautiful child together Raymona Hill.

In her 100 years Emma dedicated her life to caring for others and she worked doing this daily well into her late eighties. She served as Board of Election Judge in Milo- Grogan area. Emma loved the Lord she was a member of Stewart Memorial where she served on the Usher board as early as 1973. Emma enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going to the casino, and speding time with her family. Emma was a sports fanatic, she was an avid Lebron, Tiger and Venus & Serena fan. She loved her grandchildren, great children and great-great children more than anything in this world and her actions always showed it.

Emma is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Porter; daugther, Raymona Porter-Hill; step-granddaughter, Demetria Brown; brothers, William (Frances), John, Jerry (Elizbeth), Harry, Eugene (Earnestine), Kenneth, Todd (Peggy), and James; sister, Ann Ray; and stepsister Lula Green

Emma leaves to cherish her precious memory, grandchildren, Michelle and Stephanie Hill; great grandchildren, Kaneesha (Karema) Frazier, Raymond Hill, and Ameia Hill; great-great granddaugther, N’Joi Grier; stepdaughter, Artis Porter-Brown and family; brother, Harold (Carolyn) Rosser; sister, Hattie Painter; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Private Visitation 9:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Mask, Social Distancing and Tickets are required. Interment at Union Cemetery Association.
