Nikki Lynn Woods

Nikki Lynn Woods (nee O’Neal) was born on August 11, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio to Veda Price O’Neal and Andrew Carter, the youngest of 9 children.
Nikki was raised in Cleveland and attended Cleveland Public Schools, graduating from John Adams High Schools in 1987. She met her future husband Brian in 1990. Brian and Nikki had five daughters, Asia, Brianna, Angela, Stephanie and Rain, and two grandchildren, Dominique and Demetrius. They had been married 22 years at the time of her passing.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her children and loved helping to raise her grandchildren. Nikki was a very caring and compassionate person who would help anyone in need. Because of her love of people she began a career as a nurse’s aide in 1996 that continued until her death. She was a member of Miracle Cathedral Church.
Nikki was preceded in death by her parents Veda and Andrew and grandparents Thelma and Otis. She is survived by her husband Brian, daughters Asia, Brianna, Angela, Stephanie and Rain, grandchildren Dominique and Demetrius and siblings Stephanie, Angela(Rodney), Wanda(Nate), Meegan, Grace, Charles(Tammy), Kenneth(Sharon), and Gerald, grandchildren Dominique and Demetrius, her loving nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Her laughter, devotion and thoughtful ways will be dearly missed by all.
