Nina Lisa Wright

November 28, 1955 — October 11, 2024

Mansfield

Nina L. Wright was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio. Nina’s Sunrise Date was November 28, 1955 and her sunset date was October 11, 2024. Growing up alongside Nina was a wonderful experience and lots of laughter and joy for us all.

Nina was a 1974 graduate of Malabar High School. This is when she decided to make a career in nursing. Nina (Sunshine) always worked, whether it was being a volunteer as a safety Town instructor at a young age or volunteering at the Richland County Red Cross. Her passion was always to help others. She made her lifetime dream to become a RN with a nursing degree from North Central Technical College in Mansfield and she also attended Ashland University in later years to refresh her nursing skills.

Nina worked at several facilities during her nursing career including Mansfield General Hospital, Ohio Brass Dispensary, Twin Oaks Living and Learning, Ohio area Agency on Aging, Visiting Nurses Association of Ohio and Memorial Homes of Mansfield before retiring.

Nina was a very caring person, never selfish. She enjoyed reading Guidepost Magazine, had a wonderful sense of humor. She belonged to many organizations, loved animals, dining out, traveling, playing different games, shopping, going to the movies, music, and watching the soap operas. Nina was extremely talented with arts and crafts; especially painting ceramics in which were beautifully done. She would design and make jewelry and silk flower hair accessories.

Nina would visit different churches but was faithful to one.

Nina was a Beautiful Lady who her son Larius very much.

Nina has one son, Mr. Larius Clemons and one granddaughter Flora, both reside in Germany. Nina has three sisters Dana (Sandy) Holley, Vicki Beauford and Kimberly Kavis all of Mansfield. She has numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Special Thanks to Mr. Larry Clemons for all his help and support.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Dana and Beatrice Wright and one sister Gay Evans of Cincinnati, Ohio and childhood friend Valorie Benjamin.
