Columbus, Ohio
Norman A. Price, 57, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 22, 2025. He was born on April 4, 1967, in Columbus to Ellen Price (Caldwell) and Norman Parks.
Norman graduated from Marion-Franklin High School in 1987, where he was an active member of the football and wrestling teams. He went on to build a career as a skilled carpenter, known for his craftsmanship and artistic touch. Norman worked for over 15 years with Creative Housing Columbus and Realtor Stucco and Supply Co. Inc. He later founded his own business, ReModelist Inc. - "Jack-of-all-Trades" - in 2015, where he provided home repairs and remodeling services to families, seniors, people with disabilities, and others in the community who couldn't afford essential work. Norman's dedication to helping others was evident in the lives he touched throughout central Ohio.
Norman was passionate about his family and his hobbies, which included fishing, traveling, cooking, baking, fixing cars, and walking on the beach. He was also deeply committed to giving back to his community, often helping the homeless. Known for his gentle and kind heart, Norman had a warm smile and a helping hand for anyone in need, even strangers. His greatest love was for his family, and his legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply.
Norman was preceded in death by his father, Norman Parks; his stepfather, Clifford Caldwell; and his grandmother, Evelyn "Gont Gont" Cooper. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Leah Price; children Keyon, Ebony and Isaac, Essence, Kiera, and Destinee; grandchildren Bennie, Ma'Leah, Alaiyah, Faith, and Elijah; his goddaughter, Nazariyah Martin; his niece, Shekinah Bruton; nephews Markus Macklin and Jeremiah Cochran; and a host of cousins, extended family, and close friends. He is also survived by his mother, Ellen Caldwell; brothers Charles Price and Timothy Cochran; and sisters Lisa and Michelle Price, and Christin Cochran.
Norman's final words were often a reminder of his philosophy on life: "Don't let the stress get you down because the world is a troubled place sometimes. Have a good day and keep your head up!"
Norman will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tribute to Our Beloved Father:
Our father was more than just a parent-he was our guide, our protector, and our greatest supporter. Every single day, he was present in our lives, helping each of us navigate our unique journeys. Whether it was with his wisdom, his encouragement, or simply his unwavering love, he made sure we never felt alone.
Keyon, Ebony, Essence, Kiera, and Destinee, each of us was touched by his kindness in a way that shaped who we are today. His strength, love, and sacrifices will forever be a part of us. Though he is no longer physically here, his spirit lives on in our hearts, in the lessons he taught us, and in the love he gave so freely.
Daddy, we miss you more than words can express, but we find comfort in knowing that your love will always guide us. Rest peacefully, you will always be with us.
With love,
Your children, Keyon, Ebony, Essence, Kiera, and Destinee
