Nyesha C. Carter

Nyesha C. Carter age 28, of Elyria, Ohio was born on January 31, 1995 and passed away suddenly on January 11, 2024. She is survived by biological mother, Sherry Taylor; step-mother, Rebecca Williams; brothers, Joseph Carter, Jonathan Carter Jr, and Quinton Williams; daughters, Ny’Lyla, Ny’Omi, and Natallie; and her son, Nazier; as well as her fiancé, Wilburt Trawick.

Nyesha is preceded in death by her father, Jonathan Carter, Sr.; cousin, Desmond Wright; biological grandparents, Carol and David Carter and Lula Schneider and John Bias; and step-grandparents, Joseph and Toni Martinez.
Nyesha also had a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Nyesha was born in Elyria, Ohio but grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where Nyesha attended West High School and graduated in 2013 from ECOT. Nyesha had an amazing smile that would light up the room as well as a big and loving heart to help others around her. Nyesha would do anything for her family and friends. Nyesha enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of others. Nyesha made everyone who knew her laugh, cry, smile, and they will all remember the times and stories they shared with Nyesha.

Our family is grateful to know that Nyesha is finally at peace and no longer in pain or suffering.
Services will be held at Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace North, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43211. Visitation will be at 1:00pm and the Funeral will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, all are welcome.
