Olivia Williams

Olivia V. Williams was born March 7, 1927 to the proud parents Shara and Westley Smith. She went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2018.

Olivia had six sisters and one brother. She was a very good and very bright little girl. Along with going to school, she went to work at the age of 7, babysitting the children of a well-to-do family.

She was born in Duncan, South Carolina. Life was good and hard. Olivia went to New York at age 13 to work and help her family survive in hard times. She stayed until the age of 17. She then became a personal nanny for a rich family; the Corby’s.

She later moved to Pittsburgh where she fell in love with James Williams whom she married. From that union they had two sons: Winfred O. Williams and James E. Williams. They lived in Columbus, Ohio. until the time of her passing.

Olivia will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
